We believe each individual holds the tools, and wisdom to uncover their unique purpose

I founded Peregrine Psychotherapy on a firm believe that each individual holds the tools and wisdom to uncover their unique purpose. Traumatic experiences and life transitions can derail our sense of self and purpose. Maybe you or a loved one have experienced events that result in feeling adrift, unsure, confused, or overwhelmed. I respect the courage it takes to seek assistance. Facing doubt, shame or uncertainty can be painful and lonely. Working with a clinician can shed light on unrecognized patterns and dormant aspects of self in a safe and empathic relationship. I partner with clients to craft a learning environment where we can identify inner resources and with proper support build the skills necessary to navigate complex challenges.

My therapeutic approach is paced to resemble a slow-cooked meal, letting the client’s story unfold naturally through experience-based and imaginal exploration couched in evidence based models including the principals of psychodynamic, systemic, and somatic theory. I find that a creative personalized mix of these modalities is congruent with trauma-informed care especially when interwoven with the Sanctuary Model and an emphasis on crisis strategies for underrepresented populations. I strive to provide accessible care and welcome the opportunity to work with individuals outside my own race, gender/sexual identity, ethnicity, and culture.

I am a cis-gendered, third generation descendent of Greek immigrants. I am in a long-term relationship and a co-parent to two neurodivergent children. I have experience in both special education and small business ownership/management as well as culinary and visual arts. I received a BFA from the University of Cincinnati and an MA in counseling psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute in Santa Barbara. I am a lifetime learner with a special passion for non-fiction writing, snowboarding, algebra, gardening, food preparation/canning, reading with my sons, neuroscience, and travel.

We embrace all forms of experiential therapy and believe that art looks different for everyone.

In home sessions allow the therapeutic process to unfold slowly adding nourishment and practical skills.

We prioritize accessibility in cases that include children and families.

Talk therapy can be overwhelming, somatic therapy engages the body when words are difficult.
